Hello and welcome!  Love Horse Consultancy is to be a tiny little business tucked away in a beautiful corner of north west Dorset, where over the coming months, I hope to be of service to both the horses and owners across this lovely area of rural 'Wessex'

​

I have been dedicated to the wellbeing of horses and humans in a professional capacity as a qualified therapist for over twenty five years and this work was propelled by an absolute passion for horses that stretches back to my earliest years.  I was blessed to be tutored by some of the most incredible pioneers of equine therapy across many modalities and feel very lucky to be able to blend these practices to help find and maintain wellness for you and your horse. The experience of working with many different people from across a broad spectrum of society, including the Film Industry, Media, Commerce, Finance, Sport and of course Equestrianism, provides an extensive underpinning knowledge of what modalities are effective. This ensures that coupled with my qualifications as a Saddle Fitter (QSF), I hold a MSFC Diploma, C&G Flocking Award and ongoing CPD training with The Society of Master Saddlers (SMS), I have a sound foundation to draw upon. I can provide tools and assistance for you to reach your goals, become healthier, happier and to enjoy the company of these truly amazing beings through all the seasons because although having horses in our lives requires dedication and commitment the incredible rewards are a true gift.

SADDLE FITTING

​

Strength and wellbeing are, of course, the prerequisties of any ridden practice with your horse but in addition (most of us) need a saddle and bridle to achieve our riding dreams.  As such, the saddle is the true interface between the rider and the horse and finding a correctly fitting one can be a source of great frustration and angst. 

 

I am excited to say I am very lucky to work with the amazing team at Saddles Direct and have access to their extensive stock of saddles, their  accompanying brand knowledge and their wonderful customer service. This provides a really helpful and cost effective route to finding a saddle that is right for you and your horse. In addition I also carry a small stock of new demonstration saddles to accompany me on yard visits and a few secondhand ones too.
